One of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies almost included modern movie star Peyton List.
According to actress Peyton List, she almost played a role in aSpider-Manmovie before her scenes were removed.
You started in, what, 2004 at the age of six.
You were on Spider-Man and it says"
Peyton List: “Yeah, so young.”
Dohner: “‘Girl on Stairs.’
How did you get this role of ‘Girl on Stairs?’
List: “That was a huge, huge platform being the girl on the stairs.
That really boosted my career.
I feel like I was a super mature, little kid.
We want to sign him.'”
List: “And I was like, Hey, Ive always wanted to do it!'”
Q: “‘We look alike.
Im just a female.'”
List: “They were like, ‘No, you dont look alike.
Youre like the ugly twin, so move aside.’
No, Im not kidding.
And Im like, ‘I would love to do this.
We just want him still.
If you have to get him, you have to get her.
And she was like, Or were walking.
Yeah, she is a savage.
She made my dreams happen.
And then theyre like, Fine, well take the girl.
And then, I ended up doing really well.
And were basically fighting over how to spell Spider-Man.”
Now, did you get paid for this?”
List: “Yeah.
I dont know how much though.”
Dohner: “Was that the only part you had in it?
Youre just literally on the stairs?”
List: “Oh, that was it.
I probably barely got paid.
Theyre like, ‘Youre lucky to be here, kid.
Youre lucky to be on the stairs.'”
List: “Its pretty awesome.
My part got cut, so… Yeah, it was a double whammy.
They didnt want you, you got cut from your first film, welcome to Hollywood, kid!
But, it was good for me.
It was good for me at six.
Thats why I have super low self-esteem… No, Im kidding.”
