Outlander is coming back for one last bout of time-traveling romance.
The hit TV series,basedon Diana Gabaldon’s series ofOutlandernovels, has run for 10 years on Starz.
Gabaldon replied, revealing her reaction to the ending,“It was interesting…
I was not upset by it:”
“It was interesting…

It was not something I wrote, so I’m very objective about it.
It was well done, I think it will work very nicely.”
Does Outlander Season 8 Have a Release Date?
As of September 2024,Outlanderhad completed filming, wrapping up production that started in March.
A release date for Season 8 sometime in late 2025 makes the most sense.
11 of the biggest names attached to the series have been confirmed to return.
They will be back to write one more chapter in their time-traveling love story.
That book follows Claire and Jaime after they settle in North Carolina, America, amid the American Revolution.
This culminates in Jamie being called back to the battle and sustaining severe injuries while at war.
It has already been confirmed that anOutlanderprequel spin-off is in the works at Starz.
According toCollider, the series will be titledBlood of My Bloodand will be released in 2025.
It will focus on Jaime and Claire’s parents' love stories across two different timelines.
OutlanderSeason 8 is set to debut sometime in 2025.
