Its believed that his supernatural birth is proof hes truly the prophesied Chosen One.
He managed to not only win the event but also get his freedom,thanks to Qui-Gon Jinn.
This is the winning move for the planet against its droid attackers.
Darth Maulkills Qui-Gon Jinn, andObi-Wan Kenobitakes in Anakin as his apprentice.
The two are then assigned to protect her.
However, the unexpected happened: Anakin quickly fell in love with the Senator.
He found his mother, who died in his arms shortly after the two were reunited.
In revenge, Anakin slaughteredevery single Tuskenin the camp, which included both women and children.
The Clone Wars Begins - 22 BBY
A battle on Geonosis marked the start of theClone Wars.
Anakin took part in the conflict alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala.

Padme told Anakin for the first time that she is pregnant.
With further manipulation, Anakin finally snaps and is fully embraced by the dark side.
He then leads an assault on the Jedi Temple as Emperor Palpatine calls for Order 66.
Padme gave birth to two children, though, as Anakins dreams foretold, she doesnt live past childbirth.

Emperor Palpatine found Anakins dismembered body on Mustafar.
Its at this point that Anakin truly became the infamous Sith Lord Darth Vader.
At the location, there are dozens of spikes with clone helmets on them in remembrance.
On the ground in front of it all, Vader found Ahsoka Tanos rusted lightsabers.
The Sith Lord took this to mean that his former padawan was no more.
Mustafar Established - 14 BBY
Darth Vader established Mustafar as his home base.
Fortress Vader was built on top of a former Sith temple.
The locals proved to be quite formidable opponents, driving Vader close to defeat.
The entire Fortress Vader Imperial garrison was even wiped out.
While her attempt was unsuccessful,Vader felt she wasnt worth the effort to kill.
Not long after that, Vader and Obi-Wan have a fateful duel on a barren moon.
Vader is defeated, with half of his mask badly damaged.
The two eventually come face-to-face on Malachor, where Vader believed himself to have defeated her.
He doesnt realize that thanks to Ezra and The World Between Worlds, Ahsoka still lived.
Its here where the group first metLeia Organa.
Vader struck down Kenobi, who became one with the force.
Not long after, Vader unsuccessfully defended the Death Star from the Rebels.
After its destruction, the Sith Lord hiredBoba Fettto identify the person who fired the destructive shot.
The answer wassnt what he expected:Luke Skywalker, his own son.
Luke refused to kill Vader, which Emperor Palpatine did not like.
While the former villain became somewhat redeemed, he was mortally wounded.
While he got one more small moment with his son, Anakin Skywalker quickly became one with the force.
In fact, fans already know where theyll see him next.
