Disney fans just caught their first glimpse at Moana 2’s new villain, Matangi.

Moana 2may be aMoanaand Maui reunion; but inDisney’sanimated sequel, the duo will face a new female villain.

She’s also sporting a yellow and orange hairpiece.

Awhimai Fraser has been cast as the voice of Matangi and she’s no stranger toDisney Animation.

In addition to roles onShortland StreetandAhikaroa, Fraser also voiced Elsa and Dolores in the Maori language versions ofFrozenandEncanto.

In 2016’sMoana, Te Ka didn’t have a voice.

The only antagonist Moana and Maui actually spoke with was Tamatoa, but even that exchange was short-lived.
