The Incredible Hulk 2 sounds like it would have shaped up to be an exciting sequel.
WhileRobert Downey Jr.‘sbig debut was a hit, Norton’s didn’t land so well.
Edward Norton would then go on to be replaced byMark Ruffalo’sBruce Bannerin 2012 whenThe Avengerslanded.
Since then, Hulk has not had another solo projectthe original Avenger never got his sequel.
I really do hope [the sequel] happens, for all sorts of reasons.

When I agreed to do Hulk, I signed off for two sequels, so its a moot question.
I certainly hope Edward is on the sequel – but thats up to Marvel and Edward.

If true, the project would be the first Bruce Banner-focused story since 2008’sThe Incredible Hulk.
