Sony Pictures' Gran Turismo races onto digital storefronts soon for fans to enjoy at home.

Mere weeks after hitting theaters,Sony Pictures’racing epicGran Turismohad its online release date confirmed.

The high-speed blockbuster earned middling reviews, sitting at64%onRotten Tomatoes.

Mostcritics called the film a"solid adaptation,“albeit it one that was paint-by-numbers.

This theatrical-to-PVOD window is fairly typical for recent Sony Pictures.

As for the movie’s streaming release, that remains shrouded in mystery.

The best comparison to use is theAdam Driver-led65, which came out in theaters back on March 10.

Driver’s dinosaur sci-fi epic ended up hitting Netflix on July 8, 121 days after its theatrical debut.

Using that same sort of window forGran Turismowould put the film on Netflix on December 24 of this year.
