The actress behind Wanda Maximoff has reflected on her character’s past with Tony Stark.
When audiences first meet her character in theMCU, Wanda is a pawn of Hydra.
From there, she filled the same role forUltron, who has a shared hatred for Tony Stark.
Sadly, Sue Storm of Earth-838 is still waiting on an apologyabout her spaghettified husband.
This included some words from the woman under the character’s tiara, Elizabeth Olsen.
I think at the most simple, its Wanda came from an immensely traumatic childhood.
She was radicalized and was given the power of the Mind Stone.
And shes framed as this creepy, uber-powerful goth girl with telekinetic powers.
He was her last remaining tie to her humanity…
But shes sort of able to keep moving forward, but not really at a full version of herself.
But to see where the characters gone, I honestly never could have imagined.
What’s Next for Wanda Maximoff?
At this point in the MCU, her hatred of Tony Stark is old news.
But what’s next for Wanda Maximoff?
It’s clear she knows somethingprobably.
Thanks toDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, her character seems quite connected to the MCUs widerMultiverse Saga.
With this in mind, one would think shed have to run intoJonathan MajorsKang the Conquerorat some point.
When that might happen, however, is anyones guess.
In-universe,Doctor Strangebelieves her to be deadthough Marvel Studios PresidentKevin Feigehasteased otherwise.
It would also be nicefor the MCU to further explore her griefover her brother Pietro’s death.
