Disney confirmed at least seven shows coming to its streaming service from both Marvel and Star Wars.
For both franchises, 2022 brought with it three live-action series each.
Audiences are currently expecting at least another three for both of them in 2023, with four from Marvel.
It might even feature the first look atStar Wars: RebelsSabinein live-action.
Star Wars Visions Season 2
The animated anthology series was a unique move byLucasfilm.
While it may not have landed for everyone, those who did enjoy it immediately fell in love.
Secret Invasion
Secret Invasionis expected to be the next Marvel Studios Disney+ project to air.
While no specific release window has been given,we have a decent idea of when it may premiere.
Odds are theSamuel L. Jackson-led show will premiere sometime after Mandos third season ends.
Hopefully,this includes more Kang.
Alongside being aboutAhsoka Tanoherself, the show will act like a sequel to the animatedRebelsseries.
Itll see the return of Hera, Sabine, andEzraalongside their big bad,Grand Admirable Thrawn.
The real question is, why the notable delay?
Was there a quality issue?
After all, Marvel Studios seems to be going through some big changesafter the wider reception to Phase 4.
When it does land, itll be a big deal.
What If…?
Season 2
Season 2 ofWhat If…?is nowhere to be found.
Originally it was meant to debut early this year.
Thankfully, thats all been resolved.
However, narrowing down a release window forthe serieshas not.
The show reportedlywent through some development issuesbehind the scenes.
Hopefully, whatever may have happened wont affect the final product.
With how short and concise the installments are, its hard to imagine a long turnaround.
Fingers crossed that they get released before the years out.
For the galaxy far, far away,The Mandalorians third season premieres on March 1.
