How Long Will the Strike Last?
The last WGA strike occurred in 2007 and lasted 100 days.
This strike impacted dozens of TV shows and feature films and ultimately cost Hollywood over 1 billion dollars.
Before that, there was a strike in 1988 which went on for a whopping 22 weeks.
But then, just three years earlier, another writers strike lasted only 2 weeks.
Films that have already completed filming, likeThe FlashandBlue Beetlewill release unscathed as theyre already in post-production.
The same goes for the final season ofTitansonHBO Max.
