Corenswet and Brosnahan beat out several actors gunning for the iconic partsincludingX-Men: First Classstar Nicholas Hoult andBarbie’sEmma Mackey.

This all comes after Hoult was turned down to play DC’s other major superheroBatmanin Matt Reeves’The Batmanfilm.
