Episode 6 followsAhsokaafter the events ofRevenge of the Sith.
This story involved Ahsoka isolating herself from the larger galaxyuntil an accident on a farming planet reveals her secrets.
Oddly enough, this story is basically an alternate re-telling of E.K.
However, there are enough direct changesthat end up essentially making the novel non-canon.
Among the changes was the removal of Kaedan Larte, a character who eventually begins to fall for Ahsoka.
So, what does the actress behind the leading Jedi have to say about it?
This storyline was fromTales of the Jedi.
Johnston wrote two incredible female characters that I hope well see in the future.
So I definitely sense the parallels.
I never look at like, Okay, well, whats ahead?
And, Why dont we have more?
I dont ever look at it that way.
Im just grateful for what I get to do.
But theres always a sadness whenever a project comes to an end.
And so that episode, in particular, was, the last one, it was sad.
What makes the matter frustrating is howthe changes were completely unnecessary.
Filoni could have easily found another story to tell with the character at some point after the prequel trilogy.
The biggest of themwould be Doctor Aphra, someone who was originally introduced in the comics.

There are others, but most aren’t fully in the spotlighthowever, someHigh Republicbookstry to fix that.
Tales of the Jediis available to stream on Disney+.
Fans can also look forward to the live-actionAhsokaseries starring Rosario Dawson when it likely airs sometime next year.
